After the last of our 4 children moved out, my husband and I decided it was time to downsize and decided to put our residence at 439 Carriage Lane, Peterborough, up for sale. Judith Carson owner of Art of Redesign was recommended by our real estate agent to assess our home for staging purposes. She went through every room in our house and made extensive and valuable suggestions. She prepared a comprehensive binder with photos and suggestions to make the rooms and the enitre house look fresh, clean and modern.

We met with Judith twice before we enlisted her services to stage our home. She asked us to leave the day of the staging so that we would be surprised when we returned. The first word I said was “WOW!” This was not the same house we had left in the morning. It had been completely transformed! The difference was amazing. Her knowledge and originality certainly was evident throughout our home.

One week after Judith staged our home, we put our property up for sale. Within hours, we had 2 requests for showings the next day and 3 more showings the day after that. Four days after listing our property, our agent presented us with an offer which we accepted.

I have no doubt that Judith’s expertise and creativity at staging our home is one of the major reasons it sold so fast and at 98% of the list price. She has a wonderful personality, is very easy to work with and has a great sense of humour. I would not hesitate to recommend her services.

This past summer we decided to sell our century home. We had moved some of our furniture to our new home, leaving some of the rooms empty. We hired Judith Carson and her company Art of Redesign Home staging to assist with the presentation. She was always very professional and courteous, preparing a detailed document that outlined her plan for staging the home. She brought in furniture and accessories that truly suited the age of the home. She has an eye for detail and the outcome was quite beautiful.
